Martinez - tipped for the top.
Plymouth striker Rory Fallon believes Swansea manager Roberto Martinez is destined to reach the top of the game.
Fallon played with Martinez during a year-long spell at the Liberty Stadium before he moved to Argyle in the transfer window in January 2007.
And ahead of Saturday's clash between the teams in the Coca-Cola Championship, the 26-year-old is confident the Spaniard has all the attributes to help him climb the managerial ladder in the next few years.
"Swansea were too big a club to stay in League One and, with Roberto Martinez as the gaffer, they are only going to go one way," Fallon told www.pafc.co.uk.
"I played with him when I got there and he is a good guy. He was also a good player and a good captain. He kept things going and he knows the game.
"You could see it at the time and everyone was saying he should go on to management, and I think he knew that.
"He will probably be an even better manager than he was a player. It depends how it goes with Swansea but I am sure he will go higher.
"I would say about half the team has gone but I still know a few of the boys and it will be good to see them again."
Plymouth defender David McNamee has suffered no reaction to his hamstring injury and is in contention for match at Home Park.
Right-back McNamee was introduced from the bench in Argyle's 2-0 defeat at Reading after recovering from the problem, which had ruled him out of the first two matches.
Goalkeeper Romain Larrieu has a slight groin strain but nothing that will prevent him from playing, although Graham Stack has started the season as the Pilgrims' number one.
Left-back Gary Sawyer continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Swansea will be without defender Federico Bessone after he broke two ribs in the Swans' 2-0 Carling Cup victory against Brentford last week and is likely to face a short spell on the sidelines.
Striker Gorka Pintado looks set to retain his place after his goalscoring debut helped secure a 3-1 victory against Nottingham Forest last weekend.
Defender Angel Rangel will be pushing for a starting berth following his recovery from a groin injury, while forward Jason Scotland looks to have overcome a stomach injury to stake his claim for a start.
Wales trio Ashley Williams, Owain Tudur-Jones and Matty Collins will all be hoping they have impressed Martinez enough to feature following the midweek international defeat against Georgia.
