BROWN SET FOR TIGERS SHAKE-UP

Brown - set to make changes.

Hull manager Phil Brown is set to make several changes to his starting line-up for the Carling Cup clash against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

The Tigers are unbeaten in their first two games in the Barclays Premier League after an opening-day victory over Fulham and last weekend's 1-1 draw with Blackburn.

Brown will hand Dean Windass his first competitive start of the season with the veteran striker set to partner Caleb Folan in attack.

Midfielder George Boateng sat out the draw at Ewood Park with a thigh strain and Brown is unlikely to risk him ahead of their league fixture with Wigan, so Bryan Hughes will make his first appearance of the season.

Swansea boss Roberto Martinez has no fresh injury concerns.

Federico Bessone is again expected to be absent following the rib injury sustained in the first-round clash with Brentford.

If Martinez decides to rotate his squad once again strikers Guillem Bauza, a former Spanish Under-20 international, and Gorka Pintado, who has made two first-team appearances since signing from Granada in the summer, could start the game.

Midfielder Jordi Gomez could make his second League Cup start after joining on a season-long loan from Espanyol.
