Everton striker Andrew Johnson has been left out of the squad for the pre-season tour of America.

The England frontman has been heavily linked with a move to Fulham, with some reports even claiming the Toffees have accepted a bid.

And he was missing when the Everton squad flew out to Chicago on Saturday afternoon ahead of their two planned fixtures against Chicago Fire and Colorado Rapids.

The 27-year-old also missed the friendly draw with Nottingham Forest and Andy van der Meyde, who limped out of that game, was also missing from the travelling party.
