CAPELLO THAI TRIP 'NOT CERTAIN'

The Football Association have played down speculation that Fabio Capello will visit Thailand next month to give a lecture on the game.

While Capello's appearance in the country has been confirmed by the Football Association of Thailand, the presence of the Italian is not yet certain.

"No agreement has been made yet," said an FA spokesman.

Capello has been concentrating his energies on World Cup opponents Croatia, who he will see in action for the second time during Euro 2008 this afternoon when they tackle Germany.

However, if a trip to Bangkok is eventually confirmed, he will also conduct a coaching clinic for young Thai footballers.

The Thai game is currently at a low ebb, having slipped out of the 11 nations that gain direct entry into the Asian Champions League and is looking for ideas about how to improve.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will launch their first restaurant and bar in Bangkok next October.

It is anticipated some first-team squad men will take advantage of the international break to make the trip.
