Sinclair - set to feature for England Under-19s.
England Under 19s coach Brian Eastick has called on his under-performing side to produce their true colours against Italy on Thursday.
The Three Lions began their European Championship campaign in the worst possible style on Monday, slipping to a dismal defeat against hosts Czech Republic.
Eastick knows much better is required against the Italians if they are not heading for an early exit.
But he is confident a side containing Scott Sinclair and Daniel Sturridge can improve.
"We all know what happened in the second half yesterday was not good enough," he said.
"But I think we also know that performance was nothing like the levels we are capable of and we need to get somewhere near that on Thursday."
Particularly disappointing for Eastick was the way his side failed to exploit their numerical advantage against the Czechs, who flooded their defence in a manner Italy will probably try to replicate.
"The answer lies in what we do," he said.
"We know Italy are a good side and in tournament football they are formidable opposition.
"But we must retain confidence in our own ability. Yes, we have lost one match but we still have two left and we need to believe we can win them.
"I am confident this team can do much better - now we have to do it."
