ROVERS DUO GO UNDER THE KNIFE

Derbyshire - will undergo surgery.

Blackburn duo Matt Derbyshire and Steven Reid will both undergo surgery this week but should be fit for the start of pre-season training.

England Under-21 forward Derbyshire has been playing with a hernia problem since the turn of the year but delayed an operation until the end of the season.

Reid, who returned to action in November after 18 months out, is to have a routine check on his earlier cruciate ligament injury.
