Scolari - side drawn with Roma.
Chelsea have been drawn in Group A along with Italian giants Roma following the Champions League draw in Monaco on Thursday.
French side Bordeaux and Romanian club Cluj, in their first appearance in the competition, make up the opposition for the Blues.
Luiz Felipe Scolari's team will look to go one better than last season when they were beaten on penalties by Manchester United in the final.
Chelsea club secretary David Bernard admitted it was an interesting draw for the Blues.
"The Romanian team is of interest to us because I'm not aware of them at all," Bernard told Sky Sports News.
"Any team that reaches the group stage of the Champions League deserves respect so we won't underestimate them.
"I think the boys are focused on the Champions League. They are completely focused on reaching the final again this year."
