KENNEDY COMPLETES DARLO MOVE

Kennedy - two-year Darlo deal.

Jason Kennedy has completed a permanent move to Darlington from Middlesbrough.

The midfielder enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Quakers after moving to the club in March and has now put pen to paper on a two-year contract.

Kennedy missed the vital penalty kick in Darlo's League Two play-off semi-final shoot-out defeat by Rochdale, but had scored in the first leg.

After completing his move, he told the Evening Gazette: "It's a perfect move for me and a chance to play week-in, week-out.

"I loved my time there on loan."

The youngster found his first-team opportunities limited at the Riverside Stadium and had previous loan spell with Boston, Bury and Livingston.
