ADDICKS REARRANGE PRIMUS LOAN DEAL

ADDICKS REARRANGE PRIMUS LOAN DEAL

Primus - loan restarts on October 17.

Charlton have brought a premature end to Linvoy Primus' loan spell from Portsmouth - and will re-sign the defender next Friday.

Sky television's decision to move Charlton's clash with Derby back two days until Monday, December 15 meant Primus would not have been able to play as his original 93-day loan spell was due to expire the previous Saturday.

The Addicks asked the Football League for guidance as the fixture switch was beyond their control.

And following discussions with the League and Pompey, Charlton have brought Primus' stint to an end following his first 28 days at the club.

The loan will then restart on October 17, the day before Charlton's trip to Cardiff, and means the 35-year-old will be able to face the Rams - and will also be available for the trip to Norwich the following Saturday.
