COLE HAS CALF TROUBLE

COLE HAS CALF TROUBLE

Cole - calf injury.

Nottingham Forest striker Andy Cole is being hampered by a calf injury ahead of the clash with Reading and could be forced - along with fellow new-boys Paul Anderson and Joe Garner - to wait to make his competitive debut. Anderson, the on-loan Liverpool youngster, is sidelined with a calf problem while striker Garner is likely to be out until the end of the year as he recovers from knee trouble.

Former Royals striker Nathan Tyson (hamstring) is also ruled out.

Reading captain Graeme Murty is not fit enough to be considered after calf trouble, so Liam Rosenior may slot in at right-back.

Stephen Hunt may play at left-back following Nicky Shorey's move to Aston Villa while midfielders Kalifa Cisse and Marek Matejovsky are fit - but Brynjar Gunnarsson (knee) is out.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici and defender Andre Bikey are in Beijing on Olympic duty.
