Manchester United's Fraizer Campbell joined Spurs on a season-long loan deal.

The promising young striker spent the whole of last season on loan at Hull City and had been the subject of a £7million offer for a permanent deal from the Tigers.

Wigan were also linked with Campbell, but at around midnight on Monday he headed instead for White Hart Lane as part of the blockbusting transfer that sent Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford for £30.75million.
