Ramos - under fire.
Tottenham striker Darren Bent believes the club should give under-fire manager Juande Ramos time to turn their season around.
The Spanish coach has come in for strong criticism following Spurs' poor start to the new campaign, which sees them bottom of the Premier League.
Bent, though, believes the club should not succumb to the mounting pressure surrounding Ramos' position in charge.
He told Sky Sports News: "I would like to see him given time. I think there are too many managers in this country that are gone at the first sign of trouble.
"He should be given a chance. He won the Carling Cup last season. He is a fantastic manager. The lads and the club are all behind him.
"We know that if we play well and keep going there is a massive chance we will put it right.
"Yes, definitely (we can turn things around). I know full well that we can do it and move up the table."
Sporting director Damien Comolli has also been criticised, amid reports he and Ramos disagreed over the club's summer transfer captures.
But Bent is firmly behind Comolli, who played a significant role in bringing the forward from Charlton to White Hart Lane in 2007.
He said: "I am behind Damien 100 per cent. He is one of the main reasons behind me coming to Tottenham. He is brilliant for the club. I think he is the right man."
