Bent - confident Spurs will turn things round.
Darren Bent is convinced he can forge a successful striking partnership with Tottenham's summer signing Roman Pavlyuchenko.
Spurs are currently bottom of the Premier League and still searching for their first league victory of the season, and assistant boss Gus Poyet has suggested Bent and Pavlyuchenko could not play together.
But Bent believes he can be a success alongside the Russia international and kickstart Tottenham's stuttering season.
He told Setanta: "Poyet didn't mean that, he meant if me and Pavlyuchenko work at training it will come good.
"To be honest I would say it's just a matter of time, it's about getting to know each other. I won't say we can't play together, I would say once we start working together it will be fine.
"Anyway I think Spurs are going to bounce back soon, I have no doubt about it. We should just get one positive result to be back on the right track because we have a pretty good team."
