POOM SUFFERS INJURY BLOW

Poom - injury blow.

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has confirmed that veteran goalkeeper Mart Poom could be out for six months with a dislocated shoulder.

The 36-year-old suffered the injury after just four minutes of last weekend's controversial draw with Reading after an aerial challenge with Kevin Doyle and Boothroyd admits it is a huge blow.

Boothroyd said: "Mart's injury is serious unfortunately - it's a six month job I think.

"He's had to have his shoulder pinned and obviously for a goalkeeper, and a 36-year-old one at that, it's not good news at all.

"But he's fought back from injury before and done very well for us.

"We wish him well and we'll be working hard to get him back somewhere near where he was."
