AIDY RESOLVES BANGURA ROW

Bangura - has spoken to Boothroyd.

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has drawn a line under midfielder Al Bangura's decision to travel to Nigeria at the weekend.

Bangura made his debut for Sierra Leone during the 4-1 defeat to Nigeria on Saturday despite Boothroyd telling him to stay.

The 20-year-old successfully fought against deportation to his native country last winter after fleeing as a 15-year-old and Boothroyd believes the midfielder has learnt his lesson.

He told Sky Sports News: "I sat down and had a chat with Al and it has been dealt with internally.

"As far as I'm concerned that is the end of it. He's a young man who has made a mistake.

"We won't hit him over the head with it but I hope he won't do it again."
