64 mins: A disappointed Ronaldo has to make way for Darren Fletcher and he gets a special word of explanation from Sir Alex.

1 min: The hosts get the game in play.
Pre-match:
Sir Alex Ferguson takes no chances with Wayne Rooney as the Manchester United striker is not even considered for a place on the bench against West Ham this afternoon.
Rooney has been troubled by a hip injury and, like Nemanja Vidic, is left out as Ferguson sticks with the same starting line-up which sealed the famous win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final.
Victory for the hosts, coupled with a defeat for Chelsea at Newcastle on Monday, would be enough to clinch the title and West Ham, with 13 players injured, including Freddie Ljungberg, are not expected to put up much resistance.
