BALLACK URGES ON 'PROUD' WIGAN

Chelsea hero Michael Ballack says that he hopes Wigan are "proud" enough to put up a fight against ManYoo on Sunday.

The Blues need the Latics to get at least a draw at home to United while Chelsea beat Bolton at home in order to take the title back to Stamford Bridge.

Wigan are now assured of their Premier League safety and are managed by former United stalwart Steve Bruce but Ballack says: "The pressure is on and I hope Wigan are proud enough to give everything in the last game and we have to beat Bolton.

"United have everything in their hands, but we are relaxed now. We did our job. We will give everything to beat Bolton at home and we will see what they do."

Wigan may well have already cost Chelsea the title with Emile Heskey's injury-time equaliser at the JJB Stadium two weeks ago and Ballack is hoping for a repeat performance.

"Wigan are on a great run at the moment. They came to the Bridge and put in a very good performance and since then, they've picked up. I think they'll do the Premier League justice and go out there wanting to beat Manchester United."

The Premier League are providing two trophies and two sets of medals for Sunday's games.
