BRUCE WARNS TIGERS OVER KING DEAL

King - may not join Hull.

Wigan boss Steve Bruce has warned Hull counterpart Phil Brown that he is ready to pull the plug on their £2million bid to sign Marlon King.

Hull agreed a fee with Wigan for King last month, but the deal has dragged on without any successful conclusion.

The Tigers claim that the transfer has stalled because of problems at Wigan's end, but Bruce says the move has dragged on too long and he is ready to call it to a halt.

"It's not happening at the moment, so I'll probably knock the offer on the head," Bruce told the Daily Mail. "It's gone on long enough."
