BARNSLEY SIGN SCOTS STAR TEALE

Teale - Barnsley loan move.

Barnsley have signed Scotland international Gary Teale on loan from Derby.

The 30-year-old winger has completed his switch, for an initial one-month period, in time to make his Tykes debut against Coventry in the Coca-Cola Championship on Saturday.

Barnsley manager Simon Davey told the club's official website: "We're delighted to have brought Gary into the squad.

"He is a player with experience of winning promotions from this division and played in the Premier League last season."

Teale, for whom Derby paid £600,000 to Wigan in January 2007, made 18 appearances for the Rams in the top flight last season. He has won 11 caps for Scotland.
