Kennedy - has joined Norwich.
Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has confirmed that Celtic defender John Kennedy and former Leyton Orient goalkeeper Stuart Nelson have joined the Canaries.
Kennedy has signed on loan until January 1 subject to international clearance, while Nelson has signed a one-year deal after a successful trial spell at Carrow Road.
Roeder said: "John is a player who is a real presence, you certainly wouldn't want to pick a fight with him on a Saturday night.
"He's obviously got very strong mental toughness to come through the injuries that he has.
"As an 18 or 19-year-old he was at times in the Champions League playing the opposition on his own. He looked like the best player to come out of Scotland for 30 or 40 years."
Kennedy is recovering from an eight-month lay-off with a knee injury which came after a three-year spell on the sidelines after the centre-back's knee was seriously damaged on his Scotland debut by Romania striker Vio Ganea but is fit to feature against Colchester on Saturday.
