Roeder - is looking to sign a striker.
Norwich boss Glenn Roeder admits his top transfer priority is to land a striker and says he is prepared to look to the loan market to do so.
With the transfer window closing on Monday, time is running out for Roeder who is desperate for someone to lead his attack.
"I can only hope that we can find a striker that I've been chasing. It's still touch and go but it's not over until the fat lady sings," the former West Ham and Newcastle manager told the club's official website.
"I will get one that we feel comfortable with, whether it's Monday or the week after I don't know."
"There are a dozen or so that are floating around that wouldn't look good in a Norwich shirt. We've had those, we've tried those and we've had to move those on."
