Lester has been out since suffering a thigh strain against Bury on the opening day of the season and will be hoping to return to the starting XI as the Spireites look for their first home win of the season.

Despite a 100% away record, the Spireites have yet to taste victory at Saltergate and manager Lee Richardson is eager for a good cup run.

He told the club's official website: "With the financial rewards on offer for teams that make it to Wembley there is a big incentive to do well and we are really keen to progress this season."

Captain Rob Page will play after missing Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Wycombe due to a family bereavement, but Richardson will be without goalkeeper Trevor Carson.

The on-loan stopper has been called up to the Northern Ireland under-21 side, which will give Tommy Lee an opportunity between the sticks.
