Goalkeeper boost for Latics clash

Randolph: Back for Bulls

The goalkeeper, who has been in impressive form so far this season, missed the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Swindon in order to have fluid removed from his knee, but he has recovered sufficiently to take his place between the sticks.

Turner will revert back to his strongest XI for the trip to Boundary Park having given several fringe players a starting berth on Tuesday, meaning Nick Chadwick, Clint Easton and Dean Beckwith may all drop to the bench.

Striker Moses Ashikodi has recovered having left the field in the first half against the Robins but midfielder Ben Smith (illness) and striker Steve Guinan are both doubtful. Defenders Sam Oji (knee) and Robbie Threlfall (broken foot) remain sidelined.

Turner is confident his struggling side can end a winless run of six matches, despite facing an Oldham side who are unbeaten at home so far this season.

He said: "They're all tricky games but at the moment we're in the midst of Scunthorpe, Leeds, Walsall and Oldham - who are all up there near the top of the table. It's bringing home to us the level that we're playing at."

The match kicks off at 2pm.
