Wright: Equalising effort

The home side had taken the lead early in the second half but a goal from Tommy Wright earned Darlington the point they needed.

The visitors had gone into the game with six strikers injured but they frustrated the home side until Jamie Ward scored in the 50th minute. A long pass was flicked on and Ward flashed a low shot past David Stockdale.

But in the 68th minute Wright got through on the left and scored his 15th goal of the season with a low shot to earn the Quakers a point.
